STEP 3

The big decision

Choose your coverage path

I can help you compare all the options that are right for you

Medicare only covers 80%. You need to cover the remaining 20% β€” I’ll make sure your doctors and drugs are covered!

Option 1

Best if: you want predictable costs and freedom to see any doctor β€” higher monthly premium

Supplement (Medigap) Plan

Offered by private companies

Pays the 20% that Medicare doesn’t cover. No network β€” accepted at any Medicare-participating provider in the country.

Part D Drug Plan

Offered by private companies

PART D

You’ll also need a separate Part D drug plan. Make sure your medications are on the formulary.

Option 2

Best if: you want a lower premium and extra built-in benefits. Pay with co-pays

Advantage Plan (Part C)

Offered by private companies

PART C

Combines Part A and Part B in one plan. Make sure your doctors, hospital, and medications are in-network.

PART D

MAPD plan β€” includes drug coverage
MA plan β€” if you have drug coverage elsewhere

May offer dental, vision, hearing & gym memberships
